qordata builds technology that life sciences companies trust to stay compliant — and trust is earned by getting the details right. We're looking for a Life Sciences Compliance Subject Matter Expert who can sit at the intersection of regulation and product, translating dense compliance requirements (Sunshine Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, FCPA, transparency reporting) into workflows our customers can use.
This isn't a back-office compliance role. You'll work directly with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success — shaping the roadmap, supporting deals, and representing qordata as a credible voice in the life sciences compliance space.
What You'll Be Doing
Product & Domain Expertise
- Serving as the go-to Life Sciences Compliance Subject Matter Expert for qordata's products
- Translating compliance requirements into concrete product requirements and workflows
- Partnering with Product and Engineering on discovery and roadmap decisions
- Reviewing product features for compliance alignment and flagging gaps before customers do
- Keeping a constant eye on regulatory and industry developments that could affect the product
Customer & Solutions Support
- Acting as the compliance Subject Matter Expert in customer and prospect conversations
- Joining discovery sessions and solution discussions where deep compliance knowledge makes the difference
- Supporting RFPs, proposals, demos, and customer workshops
- Working closely with Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success to keep engagements grounded in real compliance needs
- Turning customer feedback into product insight, not just tickets
Sales & Market Enablement
- Building compliance content, use cases, and sales materials that hold up under scrutiny
- Backing up Sales and Customer Success with domain credibility when it matters most
- Representing qordata at webinars, conferences, and industry events
- Spotting market trends and customer needs before they become obvious
- Strengthening qordata's reputation as a serious player in life sciences compliance
Compliance & Industry Expertise
- Maintaining sharp, current knowledge of U.S. life sciences compliance — Sunshine Act, AKS, FCPA, and transparency requirements
- Monitoring regulatory changes and assessing what they mean for the product
- Advising cross-functional teams on compliance requirements as they build
- Embedding compliance best practices into qordata's solutions from the ground up

- New product and market opportunities get identified and surfaced early
What You Bring
Required
- 7+ years of experience in life sciences or healthcare compliance
- Strong knowledge of U.S. life sciences compliance and transparency requirements
- Experience with compliance programs, reporting, risk management, or operations
- Experience with SaaS, technology, data, or compliance solutions preferred
- The ability to translate compliance needs into technology solutions
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort working directly with customers and senior stakeholders
Preferred
- Experience in both life sciences and SaaS/technology companies
- Experience with compliance technology, data, analytics, or automation
- Experience with Aggregate Spend, Transparency, or HCP/HCO data
- Product development or technology Subject Matter Expert experience
- Experience with audits, investigations, or regulatory inquiries
- A J.D. or relevant compliance certification
- A track record of industry presentations, webinars, or thought leadership
- A strong life sciences compliance industry network
