qordata is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our product team. You'll write and test code alongside experienced engineers, using AI-assisted tools to move faster without cutting corners. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply — we care more about how you think than how many years you've clocked.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and test features for our B2B SaaS compliance products under senior engineer guidance
- Write clean, maintainable code and take part in code reviews
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to speed up development without sacrificing quality
- Debug issues across the stack and help troubleshoot production incidents
- Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design to ship features that work for customers
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the code you ship
- Document your work so the next engineer can pick it up easily
Who You Are
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in software development
- Comfortable with at least one modern programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar)
- Familiar with, or eager to learn, AI-assisted coding tools
- Understand the basics of version control (Git) and the software development lifecycle
- Curious, detail-oriented, and not afraid to ask questions
